Rumor has it that softspoken singer Norah Jones has her heart set on making a country album. Say it isn’t so!

Reportedly, the “Don’t Know Why” singer is dreaming of making her way into the world of country music. Jones has already recorded a duet with country singer Willie Nelson.

She said, “I love country music. If I listen to Willie Nelson or Hank Williams I feel at home all of a sudden. I’d love to make a full-on country record.”

Apparently everybody and their mother want to get into acting these days. Not satisfied with being a successful singer, Rihanna wants to try out her acting chops.

As far as her acting resume is concerned, it basically consists of her digital short on “Saturday Night Live”. But RiRi wants to take it to the next level.

She said, “After the tour, we’re definitely going to focus on that a little bit more.”

As far as her tour is concerned, this spring, she’s getting it underway. She added, “I’ve never done a tour to this capacity and the production level is really exciting. I can’t wait for the world to see it!”

Liam Gallagher has a brand new name for Oasis, now that his brother Noel is no longer part of the group. What is it, you may wonder? He’s not telling….not yet anyways.

Noel walked out of the band during their European tour in 2009, following several fights with his brother. Now, Liam is taking the remaining members of the band and is making a new group out of it.

He says, “No, it’s not Oasis. That was a s**t name anyway. I’m glad to see the back of it. There’s a name that we’re digging at the moment, but we’re going to get on with the music and see how it goes.”

He refuses to reveal the new name, but says that we won’t have long to wait before hearing from them. He adds, “We’ll be on stage this year – without a doubt. We’re halfway through the record – the demos, that is. We’re in the studio this April to see if this producer works out. If he does, we’ll crack on with the album through June and July.”

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson is miffed over a petition started by fans to get the band to change their setlist on their Black Ice world tour.

He says fans of their music shouldn’t be so uptight about the songs they play live.

Johnson said, “They may cheer at the concerts, they may go home happy….but they only came to hear Thunderstruck. They don’t eat, sleep and s**t AC/DC like we do. F**k them! What about the fans who haven’t heard (those songs)?”

He went on, “There are a few cocky fans. A lot of people now with the computers, they sit on their fat a**es in their house somewhere going ‘Oh they played that song last night, they should change it.’ Well, bullocks to you. I don’t think they realize changing a song in a set now is not the same as it used to be. When you include all the lighting guys, the stagehands, the technicians, there are 85 guys who have to know what’s happening if you change a song. We’re still doing some of the really old stuff. We’re not daft. We realize the fans like the old songs. But boy, it ticks me off when people start petitions. We’re not a political party, we’re just a rock n roll band out for a bit of fun.”

Well said, Brian, well said. You can’t please everyone all of the time.

Even though Rihanna has been spotted canoodling with Matt Kemp on a giant yacht, she says that they’re not dating.

In addition to her dating denial, RiRi says that she wants to find love by the time she’s 30-years-old. When speaking after the Grammy Awards on Sunday, she said, “I’m not dating anyone – I’m single. I’m hoping to find love before I’m 30, which is almost a decade away.”

How can she deny dating Kemp? He had his hands full of her butt when they were photographed together last. Maybe he was just something to make Chris Brown jealous?

Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson sure wants us to believe that! And yay for that, I love their music.

Manson has gotten the band back together after quitting the music scene only a year ago to pursue acting. After landing a role in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, she planned on chasing her dreams of being a successful actress.

Now, she’s ready to pick the mic back up where she left off. On her Facebook page she said that she spent time in the studio with former Garbage bandmates Steve Marker, Duke Erickson and Butch Vig.

She said, “Guess who I just spent a week in the studio with? Would you be pleased if I said one of them was called Steve and one of them was called Duke and another was a Grammy-winning producer?”

Indeed we would! That’s awesome news. Can’t wait to hear a new album from them already, it’s been way too long.

In 2000, ex-Guns N Roses rocker Duff McKagan did the side project thing with his band, Loaded.

After forming Velvet Revolver with former bandmate Slash, Loaded went on hiatus. In 2008, the band reformed for a new album and tour after Scott Weiland left VR.

McKagan has just revealed plans for 2010 Loaded tour and is seeking out a new label for the group, after parting ways with former label, Century Media Records.

The group said, “We have been writing and it is going fantastic. We have a s**tload of songs demoed and now we are just looking for a lovely place for these songs to call home!”

Taylor Swift has really cleaned up at the latest award shows, but rumor has it that the starlet is seeking out a role on the popular musical show, “Glee”.

She wants the role because she is reportedly convinced that she could shine as a guest on the hit series.

She said, “I’m really loving Glee right now. If it did happen, I’d love to see what they would do with me.”

A new rumor has surfaced today suggesting that Lindsay Lohan should work with pop singer Lady Gaga on a new collaboration.

Producer Rodney Jerkins says that he would like to hear the duo sound off together in the studio. He said, “I can pair them up. I would love it. I would to see what could happen.”

Little does he know, but Lindsay can’t really sing all that well. But when she’s out of options for her career, she’ll probably give him a call.

He said, “If she stays focused, I think she has what it takes. I’ve talked to her, and I said, ‘You’ve got what it takes. I really believe in you.’”

Count yourself as the only one who does, besides her family. He added, “I’ve seen a lot of people questioning actresses who have wanted to become pop stars, and they don’t have it. I believe she has it, something deep down. I’ve listened to her in the past, and I think there’s something there. It just needs to be pulled out.”

According to sources, The Black Eyed Peas have an upcoming album that’s due to hit shelves this June!

BEP member apl.de.ap failed to give any specific information on the project, other than that the group have been recording it on the road and it will be a “continuation”.

Let’s hope it’s an EP or something short like that. Think it’s too soon for them to be following up “The E.N.D.”? That album was just dropped last year. What do you think?
