Alanis Morissette plans fall U.S. tour & movie?

Alanis Morissette’s new album, Flavors of Entanglement is due out June 10th and she’s planning a tour that will include dates in the U.S. this year.
“I would believe a North American tour would start mid-September,” the Canadian singer-songwriter told Billboard.com during a teleconference with reporters on Thursday. “We’ll be going back and forth from Europe to America probably three times throughout the summer, doing our own shows and probably some festivals as well.”
She’s going to start the tour on May 31st at the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon. Her European run also includes shows in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, Spain, Romania, Turkey, France, Belgium, Hungary, and the U.K.
The U.S. shows have not been announced as of yet.
I wonder if she’ll sing “You Oughtta Know” cuz that’s my song.

Besides the album, Morissette may find herself promoting a new film this year. As previously reported, she has her first-ever lead role in “Radio Free Albemuth,” an adaptation of the 1976 Phillip K. Dick novel in which her character, Sylvia, believes she’s receiving messages from a satellite ordering her “to infiltrate the music industry … and have a band record a song that has subliminal messages to overthrow the government. When I heard that story, my curiosity was piqued.”
Interesting. I wonder if she can act?

I am excited about her new album. Her music is so easy for anyone to identify with. Her lyrics are very easy to feel, and follow, and her voice is so amazing! I am looking forward to her concert in Texas. I also look forward to seeing her act in her new movie.
I wonder who she is dating and when she will let it slip.
