Britney Spears’ conservatorship not likely to end today

You may have heard that Britney Spears’ father Jamie might retain his conservatorship over her until the fall. What you might not have heard yet, is that the plans are actually to have him keep control of the fallen poptart for the entire year.

According to ET, attorneys for both Jamie Spears and co-conservator Andrew Wallet will be in court today to petition to keep her under their reigns for most of the year.

Do you think Britney is ready to have control over herself and her finances? Rumor has it that after the conservatorship is over, Britney is going to seek joint custody of her children with Kevin Federline. She seems a lot better and more far off from her head shaving days of the past. Don’t you think? It just seems unfair that her father would want to keep her from having joint custody of her children. Or maybe he knows something that we don’t?
