Britney Spears is heading to Broadway?

In an effort to jump start her comeback, Britney Spears is considering a spell on Broadway.

While in New York to promote her new single Womanizer recently, she checked out a performance of the musical The Heights. Sources say that the poptart is looking for the right part to make her Broadway stage debut.

I think this all may be just hype surrounding her comeback. Anything to generate some press is okay when you’re about to launch your comeback. But would you go see Britney if she were on Broadway?
