Robert DeNiro apparently wants to become a rap star! This is the funniest tidbit ever, so I had to share it with you.

While working with 50 Cent on their movie “Righteous Kill” last year, the duo became good friends. Now, Bob wants to take a page out of Fiddy’s book and rap.

He said, “We had some good conversations. As for any future collaborations or rapping, you never know.”

Now I would pay to hear Robert DeNiro rapping about anything. That would be hilarious. I can just hear him now, “I got my eye on you, Focker”…but what rhymes with that?

Rumor Denied: 50 Cent Is Not Collaborating With Bette Midler

Even though it was previously rumored on his official website and everywhere else, 50 Cent has pretty much denied that he is working on any collaboration with Bette Midler.

50 Cent & Bette Midler Doing A Duet?

Here’s a rather interesting cross-over. Apparently, Bette Midler might be considering doing a duet with none other than rapper 50 Cent.

According to E-Online, the collaboration isn’t as far-fetched as one might think.

Midler says, “Little Jewish lady and the great big rapper. He’s such a doll. I love him. He’s gorgeous.”

Of a possible duet, she adds, “”I was hoping we’d sing songs from the Depression, but he’s so young that I don’t think he knows any of them. I’m going to have to check things out and see what he feels like singing.”

Interesting. I’d like to hear it. I bet it would sound funky.

50 Cent Not Cleared In Ex’s House Fire

50 Cent AKA Curtis Jackson was NOT yet cleared in the suspicious fire at his mansion where his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins and their son, Marquis, were staying.

Despite a statement revealed on his website earlier this week stating that he was issued a settlement by the insurance company for the fire.

The spokeswoman for 50, Keesha Johnson released this statement on his official website, ThisIs50.com, saying that he had been officially cleared in the investigation, yet the case hadn’t been closed.

The statement from the website:

“The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party is found.”

50 Cent’s Apprentice Show Has Been Yanked by MTV?

MTV has pulled the plug right out from underneath 50 Cent’s Apprentice-styled show, The Money & The Power.

After six episodes, even Donald Trump noticed that Fiddy was just too nice to fire people and be arrogant like himself. The Donald said last month, “It will fail because he’s not Trump, but he’s actually a nice guy.”

I wonder what they’re going to do with the competitors? One person was set to win $100,000 in seed money for their own business venture.

50 Cent delays album due to economic crisis

50 Cent wants all of us to know that no one is safe from the current economic crisis, not even him.

The rapper was set to release his new album, Before I Self Destruct on December 9th, but has pushed the date back due to people not being able to afford luxuries like CDs.

Due to the recession, he has postponed the release of the album until early next year.

He says, “Pushing back was to position myself a little better. I’ve lost a couple of million dollars already. I sit with my investors and business managers and accountants, looking at the numbers and I’m like, ‘Yo, the values of stocks in different areas are decreasing.’ So I take loss like everyone.”

Is he trying to make himself sound more human? He takes loss like everyone? How many people do you know that have lost millions of dollars? No one that I know of. This just reminds me of Diddy’s gas plea for his private jet. While most of us can’t afford gas for our cars and he’s whining about jet fuel. Douche.

50 Cent is getting a reality show, The Money & The Power

50 Cent is getting ready to take on his own Apprentice style reality show, called The Money & The Power. The show is about Fiddy finding “the next person who can change nothing into something and be the new gamechanger” when the show hits MTV on November 6th.

Like “the Donald”, Fiddy’s also going to have his own “you’re fired” catchphrase. He’s going to tell the eliminated party to “Get the f**k outta here.”

Nice! I know I’ll watch, but will you?

50 Cent is rejoining G-Unit?

It’s being reported that 50 Cent has rejoined G-Unit. After giving the royal boot to his former protege Young Buck (who, coincidentally is still signed to the label), Fiddy has decided to take his raps into group form, along with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.

In the end, it’s all about the money for these guys.

According to SeriouslyOMG, 50 Cent and Val Kilmer are going to be doing a duet together. How crazy is that?!?

Val Kilmer just posted on his music MySpace page that his new BFF, 50 Cent and him are going to do a Christmas song together. I don’t know what to say to that, but oy!

I wonder if Val can sing, though. We all know he can act. All I can say is, this oughtta be interesting!

Did 50 Cent burn down his own New York mansion?

I’m not sure why anyone would burn down a perfectly good New York mansion, but 50 Cent’s ex Shaniqua Tompkins seems to think he did.

In April, 50 Cent tried to evict Tompkins and their son, Marquise, and came out saying, “I’m a winner”:

A judge has ruled that Shaniqua Tompkins and 10-year-old Marquise must leave the $1.5 million mansion, which is in the upmarket Long Island neighborhood of Dix Hills, by the end of the school year.

Despite his financial ups and downs last year, I would find it hard to believe that Fiddy would burn down his own home. What would be the point?
