For the love of all things holy, thank goodness Ashlee Simpson has decided to step away from the microphone!

She says that the reasoning behind her musical sacrifice is because of her son, Bronx.
A source close to the former actress/singer said, “She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency.”
Sure she does….it’s not because she doesn’t have any talent, right? Ha.

This is one rumor that has just been busted. Reports were flying around the internet suggesting that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was getting set to pay tribute to Michael Jackson by covering his best hits.

She has hit out at the rumors herself, taking to her Twitter to call BS:
