My Prerogative singer Bobby Brown is going country for a new reality show. Along with Sisqo and Dee Snider, he has “Gone Country”.

The wannabe country bumpkins will live at the Nashville mansion of John Rich while they battle it out for the right to record one country song.

Rich will pick the winner and produce the record to try to make it a hit with skeptical country fans.

In the first episode, confident Bobby tells the other hopefuls: “Don’t take it personal when I win. That’s what I’m here for.

“Look out Nashville, I’ve gone country.”

That whole premise seems kind of dumb to me. They’re going through all this drama to record one country track? Really?
