Spears has reportedly stayed clean and wants to keep the 50/50 custody that’s in the works with her children. She’s staying on the wagon and she wants all of her employees to follow suit. It makes sense, because usually employers will have you sign something stating that you’ll submit to regular drug screens, and why should Britney be any different?

A source said, “Britney’s rule is clear – zero tolerance. No drink. No drugs. If you don not comply, you do not tour with Britney.”

Her 150 tour employees have all signed contracts stating that they will undergo routine urine tests. Are you surprised?

Someone needs to tell this girl that it’s really not that much of a compliment to say she’s going to be the next Britney. Consider all of the things that Britney has been famous for, aside from her music career. She married some fat pig and spawned two children, aside from shaving her head bald and being held on a 5150 hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDD…………you can’t forget being drugged by her manager, controlled by her father, and flashing her goodies to the paparazzi.

Is that really a compliment?

As far as musically, however, she would never hold a candle to our pop princess. Britney’s musical career will always overshadow what Miley does. Miley’s fans are teens and tweens (and some creepy old guys), but they will grow up and grow out of her “music”.

Also, Britney didn’t even acknowledge her at the Teen Choice Awards last night, when Miley presented her with her surf board. That’s how much she matters, not even a blip on her “radar”.

It seems like Joe is really heartbroken over Camilla. An insider said, “Joe seems ready to crack. He’s either acting like a blubbering lovelorn fool or an out-of-it zombie. His friends and family are worried sick.”

Even though it was said that he was hooking up with Brenda Song, he’s described as being “totally withdrawn.” The insider went on to say, “Camilla really put the zap on Joe, and he still has a lot of crying to do before he’s over her.”

She’s got a hit album to support, but is Britney taking the night off from performing just to enjoy being nominated?

The kicker is that her official site posted incorrect information, firstly stating that she would be performing on the show. If you check out the URL of the article on her site, it says this: “http://www.britneyspears.com/2009/08/britney-will-perform-at-teen-choice-awards.php”, which means that they weren’t properly informed of her intent to either perform or just appear before putting that information out in a public area.

Get on it Britney!

The rumor said that Britney and Dallas spent some time together at his Atlanta home, just a couple of weeks ago. “It was just the two of them for a few nights” and they “discussed music, life, and work.”

We’ve now gotten word that it was Dallas himself who actually started the rumors. Most likely, in an effort to gain publicity for himself.

Sources say that Britney Spears was so infatuated with Lady Gaga’s hit single, “Just Dance”, that she wants to cover the song herself.

She’s reportedly “in LOVE” with the song and is said to have wanted to do a “fun cover” of the song on her Circus tour.

A source says, “Britney absolutely loves ‘Just Dance’. She would love to perform it, but management is against the idea.”

I would love to hear what the song would sound like done by Britney. I think she should go for it. What do you think?

We probably won’t expect Trent Reznor to be remixing Britney Spears’ “Circus” anytime soon, but we can hope, right?

It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think it would be possible, though. Since Britney and Nine Inch Nails have been sharing the same rehearsal space for the past few weeks, they have gotten friendly with each other.

Trent Reznor says, “I can hear the thumping low end of Britney Spears. It’s been a treat having them here the whole time we’ve been here.”

Britney’s manager said, “Brit has been sharing the same rehearsal space with NIN for the past few weeks and they are getting along famously. Maybe we should ask Trent Reznor to remix Circus?”

Don’t tease us!

Britney Spears’ choreographers reportedly told her father that she was not ready to go on tour.

Apparently, Jamie Spears’ controlling ways drove out Britney’s tour director, Wade Robson, as well as her choreographer, Andre Fuentes. They’d both grown tired of Jamie’s rules, drug tests, and curfews.

They exited the Circus entourage only to be replaced by Jamie King, who was still fresh off of Madonna’s tour.

Both Robson and Fuentes told Britney’s dad that she wasn’t ready to tour. A source says, “Jamie didn’t want to hear it. Instead, he said they were coddling Britney and were letting her get away with too much.”

I agree with both her former choreographer and tour director. You can tell by her first performances from the Circus promotions that she wasn’t ready to get back up on the stage. She’s getting better, though. Let’s hope 2009 is a much better year for Britney.
