So far, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige have said they won’t be the entertainment for the evening. Now, another one bites the dust.

Natalie Cole has said that she will not be in attendance for the tribute concert because she has a previous engagement with the Dalai Lama in Memphis.

All three performers still appear on the Tribute Concert’s website. What was Jermaine thinking to announce all of these entertainers just to have most of them pull out? I think he did it for the publicity and the money.

Jermaine just announced the list of entertainers who would be at the tribute concert yesterday:

He commented that they’ll have a few surprises planned for the concert, along with having Angela Bassett present and Sister Sledge performing.

When a TMZ cameraman caught up with Mary and her entourage and asked whether or not they were excited for the tribute concert, they had no idea what that was all about.

The concert is scheduled for September 26, 2009 at the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna.

Is Sister Sledge going to pull out now?

Chris’ rep has dashed any plans that the singer would be performing for the September 26th show, saying, “Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show.”

He would have to have the trip okay’ed by a judge, considering he’s on probation for the next five years. Considering his criminal behavior against Rihanna, I think this is for the best. Don’t you?

He is trying, though. Aside from admitting that he’s ready for counseling, Chris has written a song to show her how sorry he is.

He said, “I wrote a song for her called ‘Changed Man’, explaining how, when we were apart, it took a toll on me. At the end it’s saying I’m a changed man. I gave her that record right after the incident.”

Is it enough?

He apologized profusely to Rihanna, his family, and fans and said that he’s taking complete responsibility for the things that he’s done.

In the two-minute video, he said that he wishes he could relive those moments and that he’s ashamed of what he’s done.

The real question is, are you buying it? I mean, sure he sounded sincere, but is it really? He’s said that he’s apologized to Rihanna and yet he felt the need to apologize publicly five months later.

It just all seems so scripted to me. What do you think?

Rumor has it that Chris is working on releasing some country music. According to MTV, he’s enlisting the help of some top country performers to help him along the way:

“Maybe we’ll see an appearance from Carrie Underwood or someone like that,” said Robert Allen, a writer and producer who is currently working with the singer. “It’s that kind of song.” Allen further explained that the song is “just feeling like you don’t want that dream to go away. Everybody has a dream and you’re in it, but you wake up and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ You feel like you’re still in that dream.”

What do you think of that? I think it really couldn’t further harm his career any more than he already has.

Reportedly, Rihanna has been seeking a public apology for what Chris Brown did to her before their scheduled Grammy’s performance.

Rihanna has been keeping in contact with Oprah Winfrey since the incident and is said to believe that a public apology on her show would help mend their relationship.

An insider says, “Chris said ‘no’ at first, but bought himself some time by saying he needed to think about it with his mother Joyce. But he’s desperate to win over the American public and he’s realized this could be the perfect way.”

Personally, I don’t think that Chris will be making any public apologies anytime soon. Before the arraignment, scheduled for April 6th, it could be used as an admission of guilt.

Rumor has it that Rihanna is pregnant with Chris Brown’s baby. Crazy news, considering that they’re supposedly just friends. AllieIsWired is reporting that she heard it on the radio that the news was confirmed. We’re not sure on this one, and it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility, so we decided to run with it. This is a rumor site, after all.

The reader’s quote was, “I said this months ago and no one wanted to believe me, but it has now been confirmed that Rihanna is pregnant with Chris Brown’s baby.”

Interesting. Let’s see if this story catches fire enough to see if there’s a confirmation or a denial by Rihanna’s spokesperson.

Chris Brown has already denied reports that he has moved in with his girlfriend Rihanna, saying that he’s too young to play house with her.

Rihanna was snapped last month wearing an engagement ring, which prompted rumors that the couple are engaged. Speculation heightened last week about the pair moving in together when Chris was looking for a new home. It was suggested that the two were looking together.

He says that the new place will be a bachelor pad. He states, “I’m 19! I barely want my friends to stay over more than three days.”
