Kid Rock is set to join the lineup for the CMA Awards show on November 11, 2009. The show is set to air on ABC next Wednesday at 8pm EST.

He’s set to perform with Jamey Johnson and also has presenting duties. Joining him on stage, separately, of course, are Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, and Kenny Chesney.

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have performed together as Brooks & Dunn for about twenty years now. The country duo are finally calling it a day.

Just as the rumors surfaced that Tim McGraw was running for Governor of Tennessee in 2010, he says that he has no plans in the immediate future to give up singing for a political seat.
Of the rumors, he says, “There’s no truth to this.” His rep also added, “It’s something he is interested in, but not for 2010. Later in life.”

Ray actor Jamie Foxx is getting ready to make a guest appearance on forthcoming tracks by country legends Rascall Flatts. Foxx has been pals with Gary LeVox for over ten years and LeVox insists that Foxx is keen to duet with him. The only tradeoff is that Rascall Flatts must return the favor and guest on of his songs.
LeVox says, “Jamie told me he’d do it if we would sing on one of his records so it’s a pretty good swap.”
So, there guest swapping?

Faith Hill is pretty pissed. After all, her husband, country singer Tim McGraw, was recently fondled by a fan at the scene of one of their concerts. This chick got a good ol’ grasp on Tim’s junk, leaving his wifey and onstage companion quite irate. Faith Hill approached the fan and said, “You don’t go grabbin’ somebody’s husband’s private parts; you understand me?”
And understand, she did not.
