He said, “For the first six months after Bronx was born, I couldn’t write at all, and then all of a sudden I started writing again. I think it made me look at the world in a different way. We have a very selfish culture, and we all embrace it, and that what ‘I Don’t Care’ was supposed to be about, and what ‘America’s Sweethearts was supposed to be about. I hate explaining lyrics because it feel like ‘Whatever’ but ‘I Don’t Care’ was about looking at a picture of yourself in the mirror, like the ultimate form of narcissism.”

Get on it, Pete. We want some more of that “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down” and none of that “America’s Sweethearts” crap. If we wanted to hear that crap, we’d listen to Miley Cyrus.

Pete Wentz has been inspired by his role as a new daddy to write an album full of children’s music. His baby with Ashlee Simpson, Bronx Mowgli was apparently having trouble sleeping.

So what’s a famous rock star dad to do? He pens an entire album to torment the rest of our children. Thanks a lot, Pete, but no thanks.

Pete says, “To get our son to sleep we play him Bob Dylan’s ‘You Belong To Me’ or a little Sinatra. My boy’s probably the last person in the world to appreciate my singing voice. Although I wrote a lullaby especially for him – you’ll find it on our new album if you look hard enough – it’s a hidden track. We had so much fun doing it I’m going to put out an album of songs for children.”

It’s not a hidden track anymore, Pete, you told everyone. Doh.

Sources say that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are going to tie the knot this Saturday.

They’ve been rumored to be planning a ceremony this Friday, but now it’s been claimed that they will get hitched on Saturday, instead.

All of the details as far as location and time are being kept a closely-guarded secret.

A source close to the pair says, “Proper invites have not been sent out but guests have been given a save-the-date notice. A rehearsal dinner, for “family and close friends only,” will take place on Friday.

The news comes after Ashlee was rumored to pregnant by Wentz.

Can you imagine what their kids are going to look like?

Fall Out Boy turd Pete Wentz is in talks with the makers of Sesame Street about a possible collaboration with his clothing label.

He says that it would be his lifelong dream to work with the wardrobe staff on his favorite childhood show.

He says, “I got the chance to meet with the Sesame Street peeps in New York. Talking about maybe doing a Clandestine Sesame Street collaboration. That would blow my mind as I grew up on all that. We’ll see, nothing set in stone yet.”

And the musician says any collaboration with the show would not affect the band.

He adds, “I also want to make it very clear that Clandestine nor Patrick (Stump) will ever take away from Fall Out Boy. We are at a place where we need our music to grow and figure out who we are. So don’t worry about any of that stuff.”

He should lay out Big Bird in some phat threads.

According to sources, the hospital where Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are having their babies has been practicing “pink drills.” Code pink is code for thwarting a possible kidnapping.

The hospital, North Shore Medical Center has said that they did to a code pink drill recently, but the timing is just a coincidence.

We’re so sure. We all know that J-Lo probably called in to tell them they’d better have some security precautions in place just in case someone would try to kidnap their celebuspawn.

Country crooner Tim McGraw is considering following in the footsteps of the Governator Ahhhhnold Schwarzenegger by running for Governor of Tennessee. He is currently weighing plans to succeed Governor Phil Bredesen in 2010. Faith Hill is apparently thrilled by the idea of becoming first lady.

She says, “Tim has talked about maybe running for office. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be the first lady of Tennessee, but who knows? I don’t rule it out. It’s dangerous to say never.”
