ABC has confirmed that the show will feature an eight minute performance by Janet. The show is set to air live at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on November 22nd at 8pm EST.

Katherine Jackson was appointed the children’s legal guardian as per Michael’s wishes, but Janet is offering to care for them if they wish.

She said, “I’ll step forward and I will raise them if this is what they want.”

Janet Jackson has put her “Rock Witchu” on hold due to the economic crisis. Her official word is that the tour has been pushed back. She had shows scheduled between February 14th and February 22nd in Japan.

The Japan concert organizer said that the tour would be rescheduled for later in the year.

Do you think people aren’t going to see Janet because she’s just not hot anymore, musically, or is it because they just don’t have the money to spend on luxuries?

In my opinion, if it were someone I really cared about seeing, I’d go. Think Madonna got rich from people being too poor to go see her in concert? Just sayin’.

Janet Jackson is said to be doing a reality show for MTV. After her superbowl “wardrobe malfunction”, MTV was said to be shying away from Janet, but apparently not anymore.

Untitled project, which has already started casting, will feature Jackson as she mentors a group of aspiring singers and dancers. Project will be shot in the coming months as Jackson prepares for her world tour, which launches on Sept. 10.

“It’s really about finding who’s the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher.”

So the moral of the show is that hasbeens are looking for the next hasbeen?

Janet Jackson is planning her first tour in seven years. Sources say that she really wanted to get out in support of her two flops, 20 Y.O. and Damita Jo, but couldn’t (probably because they sucked.) But now, with Discipline, she wants to get out there and tour.

She tells the AP, “It’s been a while so I really want to make my rounds,” she said. “I haven’t been to Australia in a very long time; I can’t wait to go there. There are a lot of places where I really want to stop off at, and that’s the idea, that’s the goal with this tour.”

Janet Jackson is reportedly going to be prepping to tour in support of her newest effort, Discipline, and will launch her tour on September 11th.

We’re not privy yet to the location, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground over here.

Janet Jackson is dismissing reports that she’s shunning a Jackson Five reunion tour, it’s quite the opposite. Four of her brothers are all for a reunion tour, but there’s one that may not want to. She refuses to comment on which of her brothers it is, but we’re going to take a wild guess and say that it’s Michael.

What gives it away is the fact that she said that her brother has worked very hard on his solo career…hint, hint.

She has even said that she’d love to open for them, because she’s never opened for anyone before. Not even for her first concert, as she was the headliner, even back then.

So, apparently Janet is trying to nudge her brothers into getting back together. We’ll keep our ear to the ground on this one, but at the same time, we won’t hold our breath.
