Apparently it’s Jay-Z’s mission in life to make the trek to the moon.

He has accomplished a lot in his career already, but says that he has one thing he’s got left to accomplish. When asked what that was, by Gotham magazine, he replied, “Go to the moon.”

This one is true! Jay-Z is planning on an odd collaboration — with Jack White!

Of the unusual collaboration, Jay-Z says, “Jack White, he can do it all. He’s a renaissance man. I like anyone who I’m working with to bring flavor and their energy to the track, or else why get them? If I bring a person in, they are free to do whatever.”

Jay-Z’s new song from the “Blueprint 3″, titled, “Reminder” has just hit the internet and you can listen to it here.

The album is due out on September 11, 2009. He will be celebrating the release of the album by performing at Madison Square Garden on the same day. The proceeds from the event will go towards the New York Police & Fire Widow’s and Children’s Benefit Fund. The charity benefits the families of the men and women killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center.

According to sources, Queen bee Beyonce wants to have a baby after her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” tour is over.

Beyonce has said, “I think I’ll have a child when it’s supposed to happen. Right now, I’ll be on tour for a year and, you know…”
According to her official website, her tour appears to be over on November 24, 2009. Maybe afterward, her and Jay-Z will hook up and bring a baby Jigga into the world?

After Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch revealed that he has cancer, the group had to cancel some tour dates to allow him time to deal with the illness.

Of those concerts, the rappers canceled their performance at the All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey on July 31, 2009. Jay-Z is set to take their place at the festival and is scheduled to appear alongside Tool, Coldplay, and others.

According to sources, Diddy is delaying the release of his new album because of the buzz surrounding Drake’s and Jay-Z’s albums. Jay-Z’s new album contains the first song, “DOA (Death Of Autotune)”, which is obviously something that’s further away from the path that Diddy is taking with his newest venture.

Jay-Z will be taking the stage along with Coldplay as a special guest on three of their shows in the U.K. next year. According to the Press Association, the shows will take place next September and tickets will start at £40.

Rumors were floating around earlier this month that Jay-Z was closing his club, 40/40. Well this rumor is confirmed!
Only he’s not closing per se, he’s actually selling the place. Him and his partners said today that they are selling the club in Las Vegas for an ‘undisclosed amount’.
The new buyer will have to change the name, as they won’t get that under the terms of the sale. There was no reason given for the sale of the club, but I bet it has something to do with the disgruntled employees …read more

Jay-Z is reportedly looking to sell his club, 40/40 in Las Vegas because the club has allegedly failed to make any profit since its grand opening last year.
He opened the club in December of last year and has since been riddled with bad publicity and lawsuits from the employees over pay. MediaTakeOut says the club’s investors are losing patience with the lack of money rolling in and want to pull out from the deal altogether.
