He has accomplished a lot in his career already, but says that he has one thing he’s got left to accomplish. When asked what that was, by Gotham magazine, he replied, “Go to the moon.”

Wouldn’t it be crazy if he actually performed a show on the moon? He could take Beyonce. No one has done it before. Maybe they would like it so much that they would stay? Hah! I kid, I kid…Or do I?

Seriously, he needs to hook up with Richard Branson for his first flight to the moon. It’s not like he can’t afford it, right?

Of the unusual collaboration, Jay-Z says, “Jack White, he can do it all. He’s a renaissance man. I like anyone who I’m working with to bring flavor and their energy to the track, or else why get them? If I bring a person in, they are free to do whatever.”

Talk about a strange sound! I’d love to hear it, though. Jay’s getting more and more creative as time goes on. It’ll be interesting to see how this one turns out.

The album is due out on September 11, 2009. He will be celebrating the release of the album by performing at Madison Square Garden on the same day. The proceeds from the event will go towards the New York Police & Fire Widow’s and Children’s Benefit Fund. The charity benefits the families of the men and women killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center.

His album is titled, “Last Train To Paris” and is said to feature autotune of most of the tracks.

Diddy said, “We just vibin’ and making music, having a good time. The album is gonna be something different for me, and I don’t have to support it by myself…The train is coming…It’s coming, it’s coming. Right now, it’s like Jay-Z time and Drake time. Enjoy those guys. But the train is coming. Get your ticket. You don’t want to be left out.”

Obviously the train is off the tracks, because if people are fans and want to purchase something from Diddy, then they aren’t going to care whether or not Jay-Z or Drake are dropping their albums. They are still going to buy whatever he’s putting out.

That would be like Def Leppard saying they are going to wait to release an album because Guns N’ Roses are. While they’re still technically the same genre, if people are fans of Def Leppard, they’re going to buy the album. Fans of both may purchase both.

He sounds like he’s afraid of a little competition, if you ask me. Oh yeah, and Diddy, this is for you (’s), it looks like you dropped a couple of those when you were speaking. Idiocracy, here we come.

After her current “I am…” tour is over, the songbird is planning on taking some much needed time off to focus on her personal life. Maybe have some kids???

She says that she already has to make time to squeeze in some private time for her and husband Jay-Z.

She says, “My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might take two years off. I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. We try to sync our calendars. I started working on my tour a year ago to make sure I had time at home.”

So they’re going to have babies?

Jay-Z will be taking the stage along with Coldplay as a special guest on three of their shows in the U.K. next year. According to the Press Association, the shows will take place next September and tickets will start at £40.

Rumors were floating around earlier this month that Jay-Z was closing his club, 40/40. Well this rumor is confirmed!

Only he’s not closing per se, he’s actually selling the place. Him and his partners said today that they are selling the club in Las Vegas for an ‘undisclosed amount’.

The new buyer will have to change the name, as they won’t get that under the terms of the sale. There was no reason given for the sale of the club, but I bet it has something to do with the disgruntled employees filing complaints against them.

Jay-Z says, “The sale is a great business decision, we are delighted. We look forward to expanding the brand even further to Chicago and Tokyo.”
