The rumor mill reported yesterday that smooth sounding crooner John Mayer was hooking up with star of “The Hills”, Kristin Cavallari.

While I’m sure she appreciates the free publicity, it simply isn’t true. John took to his Twitter account to dispel the rumors.
He said:
Rumor control: How do I put this like a gentleman…I have never high fived Kristin Cavalari with my penis.
I’m sure she’s a wonderful gal but we have never tasted the Skittles Rainbow together.
My Milli has never slam danced with her Vanilli.
I have never Bensoned her Hedges, nor have I attempted to Bartle her James.

John Mayer’s upcoming album, “Battle Studies” is due out in stores and online on November 17, 2009.

To quell the rumors, the sexy voiced singer has just released the title of the first single from the album.
He tweeted:
Been reading the message boards re: the new single. Dear skeptics – I feed off of your uneasiness. “Who Says” IS the first single.

Via Twitter, John Mayer has let us in on the release date for his next album, “Battle Studies”.

He says:
‘Battle Studies’ will be released on November 17. Single “Who Says” is coming soon… I am going to make some coffee.
Are you excited for this album? I know I am! I can’t wait to hear his lush voice sing to all of us me again. He may be a douche, but he’s a cute douche with a nice voice.

No seriously. Three days ago, he was spotted making out with his ex, Cameron Diaz, and then last night, he took Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly to dinner, and to Butter (a hot club in New York City).
