She talked to Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, but she went down a different path. In a recent interview, Nuno said, “I’ve been asked to play with pop artists in the past but turned them down because they didn’t really get the vibe. But when I spoke to Rihanna she was totally into transforming herself into a heavy rock chick. She was listening to Led Zeppelin and new acts like Paramore and said that was the direction she wanted to go, so I said yes. I think the label had a seizure, so they went down another route.”

I would love to see Nuno make a comeback of any sort, he has a lot of talent that’s just waiting to be tapped.

I think he should work with Lady Gaga, now that would be interesting. Maybe Rihanna’s label will come around next time and allow her to have much more of a say when it comes to the musical path she wishes to take.

She is making her acting debut in an episode of “Gossip Girl”, and is determined to pursue other acting ambitions in a movie based on music.

A source said, “She sees acting as a natural progression in her career. One idea she has is for a rock opera which would be a huge, big budget move made to her own very unique ideas. But she is also keen on straight dramatic roles. She has the drive and confidence to make it big as an actress. It’s just a matter of finding time when she is not committed to her first love, music.”

That would be interesting enough to watch. I haven’t seen her “Gossip Girl” stint yet, but I’ve seen promos of her appearance, and it doesn’t look like she’s acting too much. Needless to say, it should be an interesting thing to see her in a movie based on her quirky ideas. I’d watch it.

The song is from her new re-release of “The Fame”, titled “The Fame Monster”, which is set to be released on November 24, 2009.

The singer has also been in the process of recording the video for the song on October 16th with choreographer Laurieann Gibson.

Are you excited? I am so happy for some new Gaga. Hopefully the radio stations will pick up the new tracks so “Just Dance” and “Pokerface” can have a rest.

Lady Gaga has admitted to doing drugs in the past, only to have had help kicking the habit, from her father.

She said, “My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure. I loved all their music, but I listened to this one song on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine. ‘Whatever I do/It’s not enough.’ Isn’t that funny? At the time I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, ‘Are you doing this alone?’ Um, yes. Me and my mirror.”

Glad she got that taken care of. We can’t have her turning into another Amy Winehouse.

These two will take absolutely any opportunity to get their names in the same sentence as people more famous than them, and Gaga is no exception.

In the interview, Spencer tells Heidi that she’s a rock star and to not forget that. He says that they made her music video for “Blackout” for about a dollar and that it went to number six on iTunes (it did?).

He says, “That’s money in your pocket! Dollar for dollar, I bet you made more than Lady Gaga this year even though she has a number one record. ‘Oh, Heidi Montag has no talent!’ — my f**king a**! If you have no talent, then I don’t know what talent is. You must be the most talented untalented person on earth. Take a bite!”

I know why she’s making so much…as Lauren Conrad put it, “They’re not going to pay for themselves.”

In other recent Gaga news, we’ve heard that she’s in Israel right now and is planning on toning down her show. She does plan on swimming in the Dead Sea and getting drunk in Jerusalem, so it’s not all religious conformity there.

Gaga recently broke up with her boyfriend, in addition to having other pressures in her everyday life.

One of her friends said, “Everything seems to have gone wrong at once for her. She split up with Speedy last month and since then I think the toll of relentless touring and promotion over the past year has hit her. We’re worried she is going to have a breakdown if she keeps going on like this. She’s clearly heartbroken and exhausted and she should slow down and look after herself. But even though she says she’s ruined her life, it’s as if she’s addicted to the fame.”

Even Lady Gaga herself can’t handle the fame. She said, “If anyone had told me at the start of my career what success brings with it, I would have thought twice about it. Now I know you have to choose between fame and love. Both don’t work together.”

I guess we all knew this was coming, right? The man has already infiltrated the gossip and celebrity world, along with a clothing line and a book. So it’s only fitting that he should invade other areas as well.

Perez says, “I have an ear, which is really important in the music world — to be able to hear a hit and to be able to know who has a good song or not…I’m more than just an A&R person. I’m also a marketing person. I’m also a manager.”

He’s set to launch his own imprint with Warner Brothers and should have his first act signed by the end of this month. When speaking about Lady Gaga, he acts like he discovered her. He adds, “I saw the potential in her from the very beginning before anyone else.”

I actually saw it in her, as well. I interviewed her before she got super famous. So maybe I should have a record label, too?

Gaga attended New York’s Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School, but says that she doesn’t think the school or the nuns would be offended by her raunchy clothes.

She says, “I haven’t had any feedback from the nuns. But it’s interesting because I think everyone assumes that because I went to such a religious school perhaps they don’t appreciate what I’m doing now. But it is quite the opposite. I got a really solid education, in particular how to analyze art, how to make art. So if anything, my teachers are sort of nodding their heads and saying, ‘She did a good job of using her artistic abilities to really create a new kind of pop.’

I like her music, but I’d find it to hard to believe that she would get the approval of a nun. She’s not a god or anything, just a pop singer.
