Avril Lavigne has confirmed the rumors that she and husband Deryck Whibley are getting divorced. A pal of hers says that the reason behind the split is because she got married way too young.

She said that she has finally realized that getting married at 21-years-old was a big mistake.

Even though we’ve found out that Slash won’t be appearing on Avril Lavigne’s new album, we’ve heard just what she’s doing with the new record.
Apparently, Lavigne is set to take a more serious, “stripped down” approach to her fourth release, slated to hit stores in November.

She said, “A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal. It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.”

Earlier, I wrote a piece about Avril Lavigne enlisting the help of Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash on her upcoming album. Apparently, Mr. Hudson is not amused.

Slash took to his official Twitter to dispel the rumors, by simply saying that it’s not happening.
He said, “I am not working w/Avril Lavigne.”
There you have it! I guess while there still may be a rock album in Avril Lavigne’s future, it just won’t be featuring Slash on the guitar. That sucks, I was looking forward to their supposed collaboration.

We’ve just heard from a very credible source that Avril Lavigne has enlisted the help of Slash for her upcoming album, which is reportedly due out this year.

She is recording an all rock album with the legendary guitarist, but has also been in the studio working with Max Martin.
It’s about time for some new music from Avril, so I can’t wait to hear this new rock album that she’s working on.

Zac Efron has pulled out of the remake of “Footloose”.
He was rumored to be taking over the lead role, which was made famous by Kevin Bacon. Paramount executives have confirmed that he’s no longer a part of the project.
They’ve released a statement saying, “Footloose is a project we’ve longed to see rebooted for a new generation. While Zac is no longer attached, we remain excited.”
Why don’t they just have Kevin reprise his old role? After being scammed by Bernie Madoff, he probably needs the cash.

Avril Lavigne and hubbie Deryck Whibley are reportedly on the verge of splitting up. The National Enquirer says that the couple have had troubles in their marriage since Avril went on her world tour earlier this year.
A source says that the couple have been growing apart for months, saying, “Deryck isn’t motivated in his own career, so he’s been drinking and partying.”
It was also said that Deryck was at an L.A. nightclub canoodling with an unknown woman.

Avril Lavigne has just announced a North American tour to promote “Best Damn Thing,” her latest album.
Avril says, “I’m really excited for ‘The Best Damn Tour’. I have more singles to play, which can be the most exciting part of the show. I can’t wait to get back out on the road! I have the most fun when I am performing for the fans. I think that energy comes through in my live show.”
Her tour will include 32 scheduled appearances, starting in British Columbia, on March 5th of 2008.

It would seem that Zac Efron’s recent success with High School Musical 2, has convinced him that he is now a big-boy in Hollywood. One of the thing’s that’s made him believe he’s the next Michael Jackson, is that he claims, “I know, for instance, at my cousin’s school, there’s a club called the I Hate Zac Efron Club.”
Well there you go, Zac. You’re huge!! Hell, he’s already covering his face for the paparazzi!
