She says that she struggled with crack cocaine so much when she was married that she wore pajamas for seven months.

She also revealed that she hit a downward spiral right after the success of her movie, “The Bodyguard”. She says that she really slipped into the background when she got hooked, leaving Bobby in the spotlight.

Of the interview, Oprah says, “It will leave you gasping. She does not blame Bobby Brown and she takes full responsibility for her engagement in drugs. At one point she says, “I didn’t get out of my pajamas for seven months.’ She talks about doing the drugs and sitting in the house, the two of them going, ‘What are we doing?’ “She said, ‘I want to tell my story, I want to tell the truth.’ She talks about when it started to go wrong after The Bodyguard – that was a long time ago. The thing most shocking to me is that Whitney tried to make herself smaller to fit in a marriage so the man could be bigger. How many women have done that? I deeply felt for her. She was trying to be the good wife. She really, truly loved him.”

Whitney’s album is reportedly done and set for release on September 1, 2009.

A source has confirmed that Alicia Keys has written and produced a track of the album for Whitney. The track is also being produced by Swizz Beats.

Diane Warren, Stargate, and other top producers are said to be making an appearance on the album, with the first single being a David Foster production. There’s also the Akon track, titled, “Like I Never Left”.

Whitney Houston is making her comeback! Finally!!

She’s reportedly headlining Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Awards party in February, which happens to be a month before she drops her next album.

She is said to be performing the new songs that she recorded with Davis at the party in Hollywood on February 6th.

Her new album is still untitled and is due to hit stores in March.

Sources say that troubled singer Whitney Houston has been lined up by billionaire philanthropist John Caudwell to give a rare one-hour performance at the Cauldwell Children Legends Ball at London’s Battersea Evolution arena on May 8th.

A source said: “Mr. Caudwell thinks it is important to raise the profile of the Cauldwell Children charity and stars such as Whitney Houston are the sort of people he’s hoping to attract.”

But will she show? Whitney has a history of making plans and not showing up. I think she would be the highest paid singer out there if she does take this gig.

Three million for an hour show? Come on, Whitney, you can do it. And she probably needs the money, too.

Whitney Houston is set to release her long-awaited and much-anticipated comeback album in time for Christmas.

Music mogul Clive Davis has revealed that he has recorded five new tracks with Whitney and he is delighted with the album’s progress.

He said, “It’s really good. We’re looking to release the album in November.”

I hope her voice is still in good shape for her comeback! I’ll be waiting to hear, along with other fans, to see if Whitney Houston can still bring it!
