Will.i.am Recorded A Duet With Michael Jackson

Right before Michael Jackson passed away, he collaborated with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am on a duet. Will says that the duet may just see a release, if legalities don’t get in the way.

Will says, “It was on my computer. It’s pretty fresh, it’s pretty great. I don’t know if it will come out because of legalities, but I hope it does.”

What a great way to pay tribute! Release the song!

Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, & Beyonce To Perform At Michael Jackson’s Funeral

According to sources, we’re hearing that an all star lineup of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, and Whitney Houston are all set to perform at Michael Jackson’s memorial tomorrow.

The memorial is set for tomorrow morning at 10am PST at the Staples Center. Tickets were made available to the public free, via a random drawing. 1.6 million people reportedly registered for the event. Tickets had already been sprouting up all over eBay, reaching from hundreds of dollars to thousands before being yanked.

Tickets To Michael Jackson’s O2 Concert To Be Refunded?

AEG is promising refunds to those who have purchased tickets to Michael Jackson’s O2 concert, if you’ve bought your tickets through an authorized agent, that is.

AEG says that it’s also giving would-be concertgoers the opportunity to have the tickets sent to them.

Depending on the cost of the tickets, I’d say that could be expensive.

Michael Jackson Death By Demerol?

We are all saddened by the events that took place yesterday. We lost a great musician and legend in Michael Jackson.

We’ve heard several reports now suggesting that Michael was taking injections of Demerol and that he had his last one at 11:30AM PST yesterday. Family reports are suggesting this might be the cause of death.

Police are investigating and currently speaking with Michael’s personal physician.

We have truly lost a legend. We have been playing non-stop tunes by the King Of Pop since the news broke yesterday.

Tupac To Release ‘One Nation’ In March

Tupac Shakur hasn’t risen from the dead, so don’t get your hopes up.

A.E.G. recently acquired the rights to a previously unreleased album done by Tupac and is set to release it to iTunes on March 20th.

In an apparent attempt to ease the tension between the East Coast and West Coast rappers, Tupac recorded this album to show the media that he wasn’t a bully.

The album is titled “One Nation”. I can’t wait to buy it. The album also features Busta Rhymes and Notorious B.I.G.

Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes is releasing an album?

Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes will be remembered with her final 12 tracks that will be released on a new album, titled, “Eye-Legacy”. The album is set to hit stores on November 11th.

Lopes passed away in 2002 as the result of a car accident. She was most remembered for being a part of TLC and burning her then-boyfriend Andre Rison’s mansion to the ground. Her family wants her to also be remembered as a solo artist. In conjunction with with the family, Mass Appeal Entertainment is releasing this album to showcase her abilities as a solo performer.

The Lopes family said in a statement: “We hope people understand the message in Lisa’s music and appreciate her as not just a member of TLC, but as a solo artist as well. This album is Left Eye’s musical gift to her fans and adds to the beauty of her legacy.”

The album also features songs with Chamillionaire, Lil Mama, Missy Elliott, and Tupac!

Rapper Kanye West’s mother Donda passed away on Saturday. She was only 58 years old, and was very close to her son. As expected, he’s taking the news pretty hard. If you have it, now would be a good time to listen to the song “Hey Mama” that he wrote for her, in memory of a wonderful woman who will always be remembered.

Holy Crap!

So, rumor has it that Jim Morrison’s death (in 1971) might be reinvestigated.

Apparently, The Doors frontman didn’t die in his bathtub at age 27, but instead, lost his life inside the bathroom of the Rock ‘n Roll Circus club in Paris, from a heroin overdose.

It’s also claimed that he was moved to the bathtub for the purpose of a cover-up, that way the drug dealers he despised wouldn’t get a bad name for themselves.

This information comes from a presonal friend of Morrison, Sam Bernett.

“Bernett claims that in the early hours of July 3, 1971, Morrison showed up looking to buy heroin for his then-girlfriend Pamela Courson. After scoring and splitting for the bathroom, he failed to reappear. “About half an hour later, a cloakroom attendant came up to me and told me someone was locked in one of the cubicles and wasn’t coming out. I got a bouncer to smash the door down,” Bernett recalls. He says he found Morrison’s body slumped over the toilet. “We were certain he’d been snorting heroin because there was foam coming out of his lips as well as blood,” Bernett says. “He was scared of needles so never injected drugs.” Bernett brought in a customer who worked as a medic, who proclaimed Morrison dead.

At this point, Bernett says, Morrison’s dealers appeared, insisted the singer was still alive (though passed out) and carried the rocker out of the club, saying they would take care of him. Shortly thereafter, Bernett claims someone representing the club’s owner called, warning him not to tell anyone what happened.”
