Natalie Cole Drops Out Of Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

When Jermaine Jackson announced the headliners for the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna, he must not have checked with the performers first.
So far, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige have said they won’t be the entertainment for the evening. Now, another one bites the dust.
Natalie Cole has said that she will not be in attendance for the tribute concert because she has a previous engagement with the Dalai Lama in Memphis.

Amy Winehouse Is Making A Comeback

Despite recent reports that she may have had a relapse, Amy Winehouse was in tip top shape at today’s V Festival.
She took the stage with The Specials to perform “You’re Wondering Now” and she was looking so much like her old self.

U2 To Play Another Free Show?

U2 already performed a free concert in London on the roof of the BBC Broadcasting House building last Friday, while fans grew in numbers as they played. They were performing for the masses in support of their newest album, “No Line On The Horizon“.
According to sources, the band is set to follow up that performance with another freebie, this time, in New York.
Specifically, the band is reportedly going to play a secret show at New York’s Fordham University on Friday, March 6th. Guess the show isn’t that secret, is it?

The Killers are doing a one-off show at Royal Albert Hall

The Killers are set to perform at a one-off gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall on November 3rd. They will be previewing their third studio album, Day And Age, which will be released on November 24th.
Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow at noon.

In case you haven’t heard, Bad Company is set to do a one-off gig!
The rockers are going to play their first show in almost a decade at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Madonna is going to play live on the internet?

Sources say that Madonna’s return to performing live will be broadcast on the internet:
The pop superstar has confirmed she’ll play a one-off show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on April 30th, and the gig will be broadcast live to U.S. viewers on MSN.com.
Verizon customers will be able to compete for the tickets, because they’re not doing a pre-sale.
Fans who show up at the Roseland Ballroom will receive tickets on a first-come first-serve basis.

Linkin Park is bringing their Projekt Revolution to the U.K.

Linkin Park are set to bring their Projekt Revolution tour to the U.K. for the first time.
The rockers will team up with rapper Jay-Z at the Milton Keynes Bowl later this year. They previously teamed up with Jay-Z for their 2004 album Collision Course.
Projekt Revolution matches up artists of different musical genres, and in previous years in the U.S. has featured performances by My Chemical Romance, Snoop Dogg, Korn and Ghostface Killah.

Pink Floyd deny pub gig rumors

Roger Waters and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd have denied rumors that they are snubbing high profile concert arenas to play a reunion gig at a village pub. They were rumored to be reuniting tomorrow for a one-off gig at The Winkfield pub is Berkshire, England, as a favor for a friend.
However, their management team has cleared the air about the rumors stating, plain and simple, there isn’t any truth to the rumors.

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher to front one-off “Supergroup”

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is set to front a one-off “supergroup” featuring ex-Stone Roses singer Ian Brown. He will perform joint vocals with Brown at the Manchester V Cancer gig and they will be backed by Freebass, which consists of Andy Rourke, Peter Hook, and Mani from Primal Scream.
