During the interview, Kelly said that she has already started working on her new album, which is set for release in 2010. She said, “We’re already working on it. The songs are really different. The next record is going to be really different.”

She goes on to reveal that she’s not writing all of the songs on the new record, because she’s been busy touring. She said, “If I end up liking stuff that I’ve done then I’ll include it, but if I like other stuff better I’ll use that. Sometimes you’re just more inspired I guess, and sometimes if you have records that come out really close together it might be more other peoples songs. Because there’s not enough time to write and sing and perform and do everything.”

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo said, “We’re writing together next week. Can’t wait.”

Is he freaking nuts? This is going to do nothing for his career at all and I can’t even begin to imagine what mixing their music together is going to sound like.

Perry said, “I’m not trying to alienate my fans necessarily but ‘One of the Boys’ was written from 17 to 23 and now I’m 24 so my perspective on life has changed.”

She went public with an affair with also married co-star Eddie Cibrian, and has decided to pour her “heartbreak” into her new album. I can’t imagine how she’s heartbroken by the split, she initiated it. If I want to hear an album about heartbreak, maybe Dean should’ve written it?

Rimes said, “Most of the stuff I’ve written myself, so it’s definitely my life. The subjects of the tunes are down the middle between heartbreak and love.”

I won’t be buying this. Even if I were a fan of her music, which I most certainly am not, I wouldn’t even think about it.

She is finally completely drug free, which means there is some awesome new music to come, I cannot wait. Music label executives at Island Records are saying that she’s got a new album planned for next year.

Island Records Co-President Darcus Beese, said, “I’ve heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. (She has been writing and recording) in fits and starts. Hopefully we’ll have her album next year.”

Winehouse is also set to take the stage Saturday night with her protege and goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on “Strictly Come Dancing.”

To say I’m excited for a new album from her would be an understatement.

An insider said, “Lacey went into an L.A. studio on October 1st and began work on her debut album, which is due in early 2010. She recorded two potential hit singles during her first two days in the studio. He music is in a dance and pop vein, and one of these songs will definitely be released as a single in November. I heard some rough mixes of the first two songs. They’re amazing. They really make you want to get up and dance.”

Are you excited to see Lacey make the plunge into the music business? The girl already has the dance moves, let’s see if she can put up or shut up when it comes to singing.

Are you excited? I am so happy for some new Gaga. Hopefully the radio stations will pick up the new tracks so “Just Dance” and “Pokerface” can have a rest.

Yes, you heard that right. Carmen can not only act, but she can sing, too. Who knew?

Sources reveal that the first single from the album will be titled, “Who Do You Think You Are”, which will be making its radio debut on September 14, 2009.

Carmen is working withe One Seven on this record, of which he says after seeing her perform with The Pussycat Dolls, he was inspired to write an album for her. She says, “We both lived in Hollywood and met at a party. The tracks he sent me were really good. I’ve always loved cutting edge up-tempo music. It was fun going to his studio and recording songs with no pressure, nobody telling you what to say.”

The album is reportedly a fusion of rap and hip hop.
