Shirley Manson Will Be On Guitar Hero 5
August 3, 2009 by Roberta
We’ve just heard that Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson will be on Guitar Hero 5.
I sincerely hope they put “Special” and “Bleed Like Me” on the game. I would totally play this with some Hole. “Special” and “Doll Parts” on the same game would be epic, if you ask me.
Check out the video showing Shirley in the game:
They’re actually putting “I’m Only Happy When It Rains” on the game. I’m surprised because while it’s a good song, “Special” was way better.

Although Aerosmith has yet to officially begin recording its newest album, Joe Perry has said that some of the songs may be made available through the video game Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.
He says, “We’ll probably release some of the music from our new record as a download so kids can plug it in and play some new tunes on the game.”
Frontman Steven Tyler recently said that the new material will not deviate from their signature sound. He said, “It will be just your usual Aerosmith. You can’t tame it; rocking out, in-your-face music.”

Now I love all things Guitar Hero, as I sit here getting ready to pounce on the new Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, as soon as I possibly can. The rumor is that Jimi Hendrix’s music is coming to a new installment of the game.
The people involved with all things Jimi Hendrix are allowing the game makers the opportunity to bring the Hendrix experience to us:
The Seattle-based company Experience Hendrix, which controls the rock icon’s musical legacy, is providing Hendrix’s music and likeness for the latest “Guitar Hero” video game, Aaron Grant, a spokesman …read more
