Diddy denies any Danity Kane split

A Diddy spokesperson says that pop girl group Danity Kane is not on the verge of splitting up so that any of the members can have a solo career.

Reportedly, Diddy was planning the breakout of Dawn Richard, into a solo career and it has caused tension within the group.

A spokesperson for Atlantic Records says, “At no point was Dawn flown anywhere to record solor or meet alone with Diddy. The girls are still very much together. They’re going out to the Video Music Awards together, and they’re promoting their album Welcome to the Dollhouse and working on their third.”
