Is M.I.A. pregnant? (Updated with video) & confirmation!

British singer/songwriter M.I.A. is sparking reports that she’s pregnant after she was photographed with a little bit of a baby bump at a New York gig. She performed at the 30th anniversary celebrations of Diesel in NYC yesterday. Photos of the event show the singer holding her belly, which have the internet abuzz that she’s pregnant with her first baby.
She had already announced that she’s retiring from the music industry, and then said that she was going to marry her partner, and it was said that she’d be making another album, as well.
I couldn’t locate any photos of the event yet, from yesterday, but she’s a pretty thin girl, so a baby bump would probably be evident. Or it could’ve been just gas.
Update: I just saw the video from the event, and it’s pretty evident that she’s at least a few months along.

As beautiful as it is, i can’t help but be a little disgusted by the performance at the grammys. It’s bad enough with the way she’s dancing, but at least dress a little more respectively i mean, how do you think this kid is going to feel when he’s in his teens seeing videos of his mom 9 months pregnant with him, with her stomach hanging out like that. yes, she was half covered, but still, i think a different outfit was in call for.
