Jamie Lynn Spears Plans Country Album?

Yes, you read that right. Britney’s little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, wants a piece of the singing career pie.

A source close to the Spears clan says that Jamie Lynn “has been quietly working on a country album since last fall.” The Spears family has also reportedly been trying to secure a record deal for her, as well.

She has already recorded demo tracks in Nashville, but the family hasn’t had any luck in getting her signed just yet.

In 2002, Jamie Lynn said this of her future, “I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing, but I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!”
