LL Cool J scraps 50 Cent collaboration

LL Cool J has scrapped an entire album of 50 Cent tracks because he says he didn’t want his new release to sound like he was copying Fiddy. The two rappers teamed up in the studio last year to work on beats and rhymes for LL’s new album, but after months of working on those tracks, LL took only the best cuts and went solo.
He says, “I’m not releasing the album he and I were working on. I took a few songs for Exit 13 and scrapped the rest. That’s due to the fact that I don’t think people want to hear me rhyming like 50.”
I agree. LL Cool J had his own style and we came to appreciate him for that. Even though a 50 collaboration would’ve been interesting to hear.
