Melanie Brown is planning a solo release

Sources say that Mel B. is planning on releasing her sophomore solo album. She is rumored to be working with Scott Storch, who also worked with Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton (ahem), and Christina Aguilera.

Rumor also has it that Scary is working with Britney Spears’ ex J.R. Rotem.

A source says, “Mel is going for a pop sound with a bit of an urban edge.”
