Penn Badgley To Cross Over Into Music?

“Gossip Girl” actor Penn Badgley wants to follow in his co-star Leighton Meester’s footsteps by entering the arena of music.

He has already written his own songs and says that he would love to show off his musical talents on stage, even though he doesn’t like the idea of being the center of attention.

He said, “My dream is to play live shows with a small orchestra – strings, horns, an organ. I’d play keyboards and guitar and sing. But I wouldn’t be the frontman.”

He can already count Blake Lively as a fan, who seems to enjoy his musical talent. He added, “The best gift I’ve ever given was a song I wrote…She seemed to like it.”
