Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has hit hard times, apparently. The rocker made a young fan’s dream come true recently by performing at her birthday party recently –for a mere $200!!
He has been flooded with requests ever since. Sources say, “The birthday girl’s dad told him she was a huge fan and that he’d give him £100 (which translates to $200 in U.S. money) to perform at her party.
“Pete was flattered and happy to oblige. He showed up and performed his big hits. Everyone had a great time.”

And yet he can’t ever seem to make the scheduled and ticketed gigs his band keep breaking bookings for. Hmm … I wonder why on Earth he could need £100 in cash without getting his bandmates in the same room as him?
