Radiohead deny demanding $20 mil from EMI

The guys in Radiohead are dismissing reports claiming they split from label EMI after the record company refused to agree to a $20 million deal, insisting negotiations fell through before talk even turned to money.
A spokesperson for the label said that the Creep rockers had demanded “an extraordinary amount of money” to resign with the company after their contract ran out in 2005.
Radiohead’s manager, Bryce Edge, insists the label’s claims are incorrect and that discussions never got to the money aspect.
They are planning to release the CD version of In Rainbows on December 31st.
