Shakira is performing at Barack Obama’s inauguration?

Sources have revealed that Barack Obama’s people have asked Colombian singer Shakira to perform at his inauguration celebration on January 20th. The mouthpiece for the Presidential Inaugural Committee has neither confirmed nor denied the reports, stating that the official announcement is “way down the road.”
Shakira spoke of Obama in a positive light in October, saying that “Obama can restore peace and the world’s confidence in the United States.”
The President-Elect, ever grateful said, “It’s an honor for me to receive support from someone with so much talent, from an artist who has been so generous.”
