Snoop Dogg bans his kids from rapping

January 9, 2008 by Roberta

Snoop Dogg has banned his children from following in his footsteps to be rappers. The star wants to work with 13-year-old Corde, 10-year-old Cordell, and seven-year-old Cori, and can’t wait until they are old enough to tour with him.

Wait, what? This doesn’t make any sense. He wants them to tour with him, but bans them from rapping?

Snoop has no intention of letting them rap themselves. Thanks for the clarity there, Snoop.

He says:

“As they get older, my kids can travel with me much more. What would I say if one of my kids wanted to be a rapper? F— no.”

Does he say why not? This still doesn’t make too much sense.
