Was Jennifer Lopez’s AMAs Fall Planned?

Jennifer Lopez took a nasty little tumble during her performance of “Louboutins” at the American Music Awards last night, held at the Nokia Theater in L.A.

After the performance, from which she recovered quickly and nicely, she was said to have thrown an epic hissy fit. Still, she went on with the show glamorously for the cameras. The fall was edited out of the West Coast feed out of respect for her, by the network.

Earlier today, Jenny went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to discuss the fall. She said that it was all part of the choreography and that she “meant to do that.” (Audio here.)

What do you think? It didn’t look planned to me.

She also said that her new album, “Love?” is set for release in February or March of 2010. Are you excited for the release?
